The AI in this category already has the keys. It lives inside Salesforce, Dynamics, SAP, ServiceNow, Workday, HubSpot, Oracle or Zoho, and it works on the records those systems hold: customers, staff, money.

With a chatbot you decide what to paste in. Here the data is already there, so the question becomes what the AI does with it and who checks the result.

Most uses still have a person reviewing every output, and most touch personal information. The consequence climbs in two directions. Some uses shape decisions about people: who to hire, who to promote, how to score a lead, how to read a payroll anomaly. Some vendors now ship agents that answer customers or update records without anyone reading first.

No other category on this site spans as wide a range, from routine drafting to decisions with employment or financial weight. Treat it as a set of separate uses rather than one tool.

Here is what we ask of you. Where the AI shapes a decision about a person, keep a named person accountable for that decision and record how the AI informed it. Watch for unfair outcomes in the uses that touch hiring, workforce or credit-like judgements. Know exactly what the agent features may do on their own, because the vendor can widen that with a release note.
